After finishing a few pieces without making a dime, the mysterious elf violin player carefully packs up his instrument and bow and takes a seat at the bar a stool or two away from Evil.

Into the tavern a slim dark elf enters with a black case tucked closely to his side. He calmly positions himself to the left side out of the way yet still in view. He delicately places his black case on the floor and opens it. Out he pulls an intricately inlaid violin and bow. With his open case facing the clientel he starts to play a sad solemn tune he hopes everyone can relate too.

You. Are. Awesome. Raising funds to fight lukemia is a noble cause. I don't mean to sound too harsh but I think the usability of that submission goes far beyond issues of size restrictions

I did do a forum search for all my problems but didn't find the answers, if you have a link, well I'm greatly appreciative Ok so for those out there in the know, I'm trying to get EL working on linux (ubuntu) and my main problem is missing textures. Yes, i did go into ~/.elc/el.init to change the '#data_dir ' to the appropriate location, but still the textures are missing. So I'm kind of at a lost, any suggestions solutions and I'll do your laundry for a week Also, I can change the window size by editing the ~/.elc/el.init file but if I try to do so while EL is open it crashes. Is this common/normal? EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED, NEVERMIND

I thought i saw somewhere on the web once a map of all the spots joker pops up, unless it was fake, maybe if joker will potentially get better stuff, his pop up locations should be changed/updated (if they haven't already)

As far as classical music goes I like Arvo Part.... but yeah different is good! Hey as a side thought, anyone here use last.fm? I was thinking about starting an EL music group if enough people respond to this thread/like the idea, could be a different way to meet other players..dunno..

Hey, I always have something playing in the background while on EL, and I was wondering, I can't be the only one- what is everyone else listening too? Let us know what you tickle your ears with while playing EL! I don't want this thread to appear to be an advertisement for my own taste, but to encourage others I will post my own favorites: 1) Anything by Joanna Newsom 2)(Lately) stuff by Espers 3) Something like Godspeed you black emperor or Explosions in the sky is always good 4)Tim Hecker is a new favorite for me What about you guys?
