lol..............MAGIC!!! I wonder why people who play this game tend to forget all about the "fantasy" part. I remember having to prove to some on this forum that this was a medieval fantasy game. It's for the "fantasy" most of us are still here............... -
Nobody thinks about the N00bs..............sad
-
Everyone will just stay offline for 6hrs. And imagine if you were a N00b and that was your first day....bye bye EL.... And if IP is immune, most will just camp there for the day..........
-
I did mention it should be optional.........
-
Oh...I get him/her now......What I mean is getting the real-time chat in EL to be like the chat logs...
-
Huh?!! Do you even know what I'm talking about?!!!!
-
This was brought up some time ago and it was agreed it was a good idea but has since been forgotten..... Time on our chat logs (optional) will help us know when a message was posted so that people who were AFK will not come back to answer questions that were asked hours or minutes ago..... Mods at the Market channel will have no problems knowing who broke the time intervals for ads..... ...

Then that is a short coming with the design of those games. It was certainly possible to be a pure-spellcaster in RPGs; in fact, a powerful (or just well played) mages could be the most deadly characters (see anicdote for example). Look also at mage characters in the literature of the genre, the original source material for FRPGs. When I 1st started EL, i wanted to be a pure magician in the spirit of the old rpgs and fantasy books (mages were the strongest, most feared, or at least, most needed...take Gandalf for example)...I soon realized that magic was one of the least powerful skills in EL..In my opinion, this should change but then it's not up to me, is it?
-
I think the idea is to make it a spell that can only be used once in a blue moon - with very high requirements. The problem is that magic users in EL are at a disadvantage...the profit from magic is extremely low compared to stuff like crafting, manufacturing, summoning, fighting...
-
I was thinking more in the lines of normal EL storages. When guilds have harvest parties, sometimes it's difficult keeping the produce in one place because different people have to mul it...
-
Could it be possible (and reasonable) to have special place in storages which every authorized person in a guild can access....thereby providing the guild with a place to store and access all it's stuff....
-
Oh sorry. i get it now.....i honestly thought it was part of the contest, you know people normally say the first person to PM me will win blah blah....Sorry.
-
I tried to take part in his competition and he bans me? Can anyone help me out....

It's an attempt to let players get to places faster (When it's important). Walking and Multiple teleport to range won't achieve this.
-
True And it shd just be like an extended teleport to range spell But it shd be a very high level spell and require a large enough number of essences so that people can't abuse it.
