  1. QUOTE (Khalai @ Jan 19 2009, 08:48 PM) *

Explaining who protoss are is a waste of time, right? smile.gif

Anyone who doesn't know who the Protoss are have no right to all themselves "gamer"!!!!! devlish.gif tongue.gif

    totally agree :)

and to those who don't know what protoss are, the name comes from the great masterart of Blizzard, StarCraft, the father (or mother? :)) of all Startegic games

OFFTOPIC : and StarCraft came from WarCraft  StarCraft is 4 years younger than Warcraft :)

OFFTOPIC : and before WarCraft there was Dune 2 (the first RTS) :)

OFFTOPIC : and way before Dune 2 was Ancient Art of War (the real RTS pioneer, excluding ZX Spectrum games) :P A name came from Sun Tzu book title. This way we have closed the circle and came back to EL -> Sun Tzu pleez ? :P

As far as I'm concerned, the original roleplaying game was Cowboys and Indians, with sticks for guns and bows & arrows. :P

(Yes, I realize you're not just talking about "roleplaying", but that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

  2. I get a lot of questions about my name, so I'll blab on myself here. I got a hamster in highschool. A boyfriend I had at the time made up 3 names for my new pet and I named the little guy all 3 of them. :D Part of one of the names he made up was "Nurplewhip". I thought it was cute at the time and it always stuck with me, so I used it for my EL name.

Sorry to break a few people's hearts, but Nurplewhip is NOT a new berry flavored cool whip. :o

  3. Hmmm, you sorta lost me with that longgggg list of ingredients. But it does sound yummy. Have no idea what "tuck in edges of meatloaf" means. :S

I may try this sometime when I feel really Rachel Ray. :D

    Thank you. :D

  4. This thread is just cruel! *cries* I'm FPI (Food Preparation Impaired). I had a friend tell me once that I couldn't even cut up raw carrots right for dipping into ranch dressing. :(

So, my questions is, how much does it cost to get the food premaid and sent to me hot and fresh? :)

    ~Da Nurple~

  5. I think you got the point of it, Bernie. :)

My Mom rocks at cooking! I, on the other hand, am FPI (Food Preparation Impaired). :) So, if my Mom cooks I'm all about leftovers, whether it's Thanksgiving or not. LOL!

    ~Da Nurple~

p.s. I really wasn't kidding though about the food combat conditions of Thanksgivings past. You know people take their turkey seriously when you risk having a fork stabbed into the back of your hand if you're not fast enough to get your turkey and run! :pickaxe:

  6. Oh and back when Molime posted what was supposed to be a pic from "Deep Blue Sea", ummm I need some proof on that one Mo! I own that movie and never seen that scene in it. :P

    ~Da Nurple~

P.S. Mo's post was back in like 2007 sometime. LOL

    Snakes on a plane
    Nope
    deep blue sea?
    Yup
    :)

Looks like Desertus was right after all. ;)

Desertus had his chance to protest back in 2007! I caught this one. :)

  7. Nope, that's Disturbia. :icon13:

Tbh, I couldn't remember the name, but I remembered it was Carrie-Anne Moss who played the mother (in the background).

    disturbia = pr0 movie :whistle:

The movie pic posted before that. With the black gentleman and a can and a lighter spraying fire.

  8. Well? I'm here to guess.

Oh and back when Molime posted what was supposed to be a pic from "Deep Blue Sea", ummm I need some proof on that one Mo! I own that movie and never seen that scene in it.

  9. Not yet, but he will use more stuff, including some teleport rings, rings of power, etc.

There is a lot of debate in Channel 6 on whether MM cloaks will work around Leonard, care to clear this up for us?

This is just my opinion, but I hope he won't be allowed to enter buildings. It would be nice to have some form of safety when he is around. :)

    ~Da Nurple~

  10. Really? Either leonard didnt want your stuff, or he isnt programmed to pick things up yet :omg:

(gratz on dying first & getting db back)

    ~KgN

TY :) It's only a game after all. I posted in here to let my friends have a chance to rib me about it. B)

I think Leonard is a cool idea. I'll just have to be more cautious on C2 now. LOL

    ~Da Nurple~

  11. Radu just informed me that I am the first player killed by Leonard_(alpha), otherwise known as Leonard the Leopard. So, it's official...I'm a Nurplesnack. :omg:

I'll tell you what I told him...Basically, I saw this leopard and thought hmm, he's different, 2 seconds later I got a nice long tour of C2 Underworld. :S

  13. Cool LabRat, but I wouldn't have thought you needed runway lights to find your keyboard. LOL!
You muppet! don't you know anything? It is so I can find my tinfoil hat when the aliens come a looking for their flying saucer's supercomputer.

With the grunt that beast has, I am gonna have to install a HAL eyeball.

    hal9000.jpg

Still, I bet voice recognition is still going to suck.

    hello.jpg

    Computer. Computer?
    Hello, Computer.
    Just use the keyboard.
    Keyboard. How quaint.

LMAO! Ohhhh, so that's what the runway lights are for. :D

Muppet?? Who you calling Muppet?? *pulls her shirt down in back to hide the slot for a hand* ;)

Well it is a cool computer for sure. Enjoy!

    ~Da Nurple~

P.S. I loved that scene in Star Trek 4

  14. I don't usually chime in on things like this but...back when the cloaks were first out (a couple of months ago now??), one of my friends in game bought a Warlock cloak for 22,000 gc. I was then a go between for another friend of mine that bought that same cloak for 30,000 gc, from the first friend mentioned. I won't give out names because I'm not sure they would want them broadcasted here. :P But when Warlock and No More Tears cloaks first came out, everyone wanted the No More Tears and so the Warlock cloaks were considerably cheaper.
