Vanyel couldn't have possibly known what was going on down in the sewers. I was busy trying to keep it altogether so nothing would fall apart. I did make one comment in local. Yes you did run ahead of the party which you weren't invited to and trying to hurry everyone to where Derin was located. Plus you weren't doing RolePlay at all. It wasn't a contest to see who could find Derin fastest. Don't be discouraged. I'm glad that you wanted to participate. We will fine tune this event team as it evolves. Next time that you want to be involved, pay attention, follow instructions and be part of the role play or don't play at all or just be a spectator and say nothing. I'm not trying to be rude or anything. You did throw things off a bit. Its ok, the event wasn't ruined. It turned out to be a huge success thanks to all involved and especially thanks to Vanyel.

The reason that I did that is because you upset me. You were ruining the entire event by running to Derin ahead of the party (which you were not suppose to be part of in the first place) .. You wouldn't listen and then you were also having everyone else in the party run ahead of scheduled events such as the planned invasion. I edited all non RP text from the log so that it would be easier to read, also.

I was just thinking about this earlier today but it was more along the lines of the most noobiest thing which I have ever done, but in a sense "yes" also saw. That would have to be when a bunch of us noobs from =Hc= guild eagerly went to help Shivar (now known as scarr) keep his fluffy alive so that he could train longer. Now that I think about it he must have been laughing his ass off at us that he managed to lasso us all in to keep his fluffy alive longer. He made it look like that those of us who were brave and courageous enough to partake in this extremely dangerous mission were somehow privalaged.... elite mercenaries in training. His excuse was besides helping him reach his next ad level was to train our magic!! Of course we supplied our own ingredients, too.

The cool thing is that they will still be able to pay for a special password to see where they rank with everyone else so in a sense that does help allot to figure out some levels.

I just noticed for the first time that the chainmail have missile protection.. for example Titanium Chainmail has +4 missile protection. Can someone please explain to me what this is? Should be be preparing for some future missile attack by another reality?

What I really really really want to know is if Fluffies are female or male or both? If there are both male and female, how do we tell them apart?

So, say for example we could use a completed leather helm plus normal ingredients in order to create an iron or even steel or other types of helms. As Roja said, we use leather in the greaves already so maybe when the greaves break, we are wearing leather boots? lol .. I know that wouldn't probably work but seriously speaking I think its worthy for the helms, chainmail and platemail. and for the cuisses I think we use leather on those too, don't we? I guess its obvious I'm not a manuer.

Exactly and we could also have a greater usage for leather torsos and leather pants because these could be an ingredient to make the special padding. I don't know.. its just a thought.

WoW Trollson.. bravo!! That was a very interesting post. Wouldn't it be cool if we were also required to wear padding under our plate or chainmail? That way we have more protection if we do and... if the plate or chain breaks we still have our padding on. What about helms?

Despite the list fluctuating, for the most part it would hold a steady and dependable and rather fairly accurate account of the financial situation regarding EL players. Because many players stiill have a base amount that doesn't vary dramatically. I seriously doubt that the fluctuation can be anymore wild than the Wall Street stock exchange.

Why are we here in this game (or any online game or other online activity) spending infinite priceless, precious, unrecyleable, unusable minutes.. hours, days, weeks, months and even years again sitting in front of a heartless, cold machine which is unable to touch us, feel us or know us beyond the masks we wear? To quit or not to quit or as Hamlet once said "to be or not to be is the question that I ask of thee". No, I'm not asking if "I" should leave or not because I'm a big girl and can make that decision all on my own and I'm not ready to leave, not just yet anyway. I know it will happen one day. One day I'll leave, won't we all? This is simply a hypothetical question to myself as I ponder aloud (text it in this case) .. I wonder why so many high level fighters are so obsessed with me to want to know where I am all the time or to constantly rank wanting to is it me? I even wonder how some of you made it thus far in life without me, lol. Learner offers a great solution for all players who are interested. It seems from the GC ranking thread that there are quiet a few who are willing to protect their privacy. Its also great for people who are buying and selling char or just want a new identity altogether without having to start over with a brand new char. And how many names will you check on the ranking table if she does another name change? Imagine checking out every single name online and still coming up with nothing because the player wasn't online at that moment, lol.

Why does iron and steel chainmail have the same amount of missile protection +2 ? Shouldn't the more expensive heavier armor such as iron platemail also have missile protection? Better yet, shouldn't we have specified cave for fallout protection?

LOL Vanyel I don't know if its being paranoid as much as wanting to play the game without feeling the hostility from other players because you are higher in stats than such and such... thus the desire for a privacy feature. I'm personally more than willing to pay the small fee. Everyone who plays is not into the whole competition scene. I just love playing but its only natural after spending X number of hours clicking a mouse that you will excel and do well in at least one or more skills. Its fun to watch my stats go higher but its not fun for me to feel the pressure of competition. Thats not why I play. I loathe players who know my stats and place on the top players list better than I do. Thats also their right to do that. I don't judge others for being competitive because its all part of the game as it is for most games of this nature.... even the game called life for that matter. Some of us have enough competition in the real live world that we just want to relax and have fun here without that added burden. Does any of this make sense?

Who told you it was an economy based game? Interesting. I'll say that the economy is a factor in the game, but I would not say this is an economy based game. You compare to real life. Ok, have your real life net worth calculated. I'll tell you right now, they don't JUST look at your bank account. Entropy told me it was an economy based game long ago. Even if he didn't tell me that, its obvious that it is. Yes the IRS (Internal Revenue Service in the USA) taxes your bank account and networth separately. US citizens list them separately, I don't know how it works for other countries other than France. I know that we don't list every single glass, flower or bone in our house (I hope that none of us have bones lying around in the first place unless we are an archaeologist). I also know that most countries if not all don't have citizen lists showing our best attributes and skills ( Sussie is number 23 in making brownies and John is 48 in picking fresh strawberries) posted in every governement office and embassy. Whoever said that EL was real life? ATM, nothing is being taxed. This is simply a suggestion for a currency ranking much like in the who's who of the wealthiest people in the world. Its a game and this unique and original concept would be an interesting feature which would help bring balance and a little spice into the game. At least let's try it out on a probation period. I don't see what the big fuss is. Just pay Learner a small fee to hide your name on the top players list or simply strive not to be on the list. I never liked the list in the first place but it exists. Most of the players like it because they love seeing their name in text. Its a status symbol. Since we have that list in the first place then lets complete it with a currency ranking. We all have our own indivdual opinions and for various reasons... Vive la difference! Whoever said that EL doesn't have politics? lol

I disagree because our currency is not based in items but gold and platinum coins. This is an economy based game and for me its only logical to have a currency ranking chart. Players do not strive to earn bones or even weapons but rather to use the gold to buy or to sell these items. If bones were the currency then yes but they are not. The items are simply a product/mechanics of a working economy usually created by a steady supply and demand which is powered by the currency and in this case its gold and platinum coins. Once again.. YES!

How about they are equally wrong? The buyer couldn't buy if player "X" didn't sell. But, thats another topic altogether.
