gotta disagree somehow there, i think they shouldnt be tradeable (even tho there aint such a system for items not beeing tradeable i think.. but that could be worked on) there shouldnt be a real market for that imo as it should be a skill that only offers you the abilities you worked yourself on. but thats just my oppinion =)

I like your ideas alot... and i know i have this from a different game but... for shapeshifting.. why not just make every totems to be required by a quest that is level based? so you can only trigger the quest once you have that specific "shapeshift level", and after you completed the quest you can normally buy the totems of the npc you made the quest and so on and so on. I just think that you beeing able to shapeshift into some ubber forms should require more than just a specific level, or maybe even have a chance to fail when trying to shapeshift? according to the difference of the req lvl and your actual level.. so just like with mixing the higher your skill gets but you still have a chance to fail on something? all in all i would welcome it if those totems are never be makeable and are more and more expensive according to the required shapeshift level so we dont have a massproduction problem with those items. gotta admit i didnt really read carpentry as i was half way drooling about the shapeshifting idea, i almost thought it was totally forgot about.. but i would definitly give it a shot if it ever comes out.

FIRST Maybe you should read Forums more frequently, or actually READ em at all instead of just putting posts here. i didnt find the threads but i know that i and several other complained about ppl taking their bags in one of the invasion topics.. as soon as i find it again i will post the links. damn i wish i could make 19M exp a week and only needing 10k Fluff to move to next monster. but anyways, stop bsing, as i see it both of you sides dont understand what the other one is trying to tell you, so instead of flaming, just post nothing at all, especially when you have no clue. if i wouldnt be that damn lazy i would go trying to get an char up to a/d 80s in a week, or a manuer for that matter, but for one, i dont have the money for either of both, and second its so totally pointless trying to prove such nonsense. you people from the last few posts should either get a life or go back to kindergarden, forums are ridiculous allready as they are. Non of the skills is easy to lvl, no matter how much EXP it takes to get into the top ranks, you need to have the will for them and the stamina, i respect those who started with zero when they started playing and made their way up to the top and stay there. You ppl should rather go with a passion on your skills instead of whining around and bsing at each other how easy/hard their/your skill is to level if you have the gc/time/hamster for it. The lvling system is fine as it is, imo it doesnt need to be any more schools ingame, or extra bonuses. Naht stated it allready that lvling these days is easier as it used to be back in the days. i actually hoped that the topic would stop with that post, but once again i got dissappointed. geez i really refrained from posting in this topic but i felt that needed to be said. So now just give each other a hug and go different ways finally.

lol pye I would say some pker may just beeing a little bit too selfish gotta admit i didnt pk in a while, but imo there should always be a compromise that pleases both sides, after all to my knowledge and as you said all the top pkers have really neat magic level too lol i think the hardest part for the idea i posted is to find a fair formular so its not like all highlevels can just bruise through lil jimmys MI while hes on a journey. But i guess thats where the idea busts off in dust again as the arguement will start that higher levels should be rewarded against the idea that newbies shouldnt be harmed too much by that.

That does seem right sarcsasm strikes i hope :S that would make magic immunity totally useless. either you dont MI and get slaughtered frequently by 100+ harms, or you use magic immunity and die within 5 hits because you cant heal.. IF you want that to work there would need to be much more changed, such as healing potions healing an greater amount of your material points etc, too much work for only tweeking MI if you ask me.

i think the best idea would just be that the higher the difference is to the magic level of your opponement (meaning if youre higher than em) the higher the chance to break through his MI, its a fair option that would please everyone and encourage magic training imo

Yes thats how it is, Bernie and me have gone through some guilds by now but non of them seem to fit our conceivabilities. So we thought it would be time to raise our own guild, with our own rules. We are an invite only guild, you may as well still apply to our Forums. The only requirements we have is that youre at least 18 years old, exceptions may be made but those will get made only by Bernie and Me. You also should have the will to raise your character more and more. We dont want ppl in our guild that leave the game after a couple of days again. Here is a copy of our guildrules: 1) Do not insult other guild members in GM chat, take personal issues to pm. A joke is a joke, but if a member complains, you MUST stop. If u cannot solve issues, please discuss with Scorpius or Bernie (guild admin). Harrassement of other guild members will NOT be tolerated. 2) No bag jumping, No scamming, No spawn serping. Do not cause our guild any controversy with other guilds. 3) Guild to guild issues will be handled by Bernie and Scorpius only. 4) Useless/silly spamming of the forums will not be tolerated. 5) Respect ALL rules of EL And our pk rules: 1. Broding randomly is strictly forbidden. You are only allowed to brod if guild got broded by that person. Do NOT branch the whole guild, only the one who has broded. BOD is allowed in any way. 2. PKing obviously low lvl Merc Harvesters is forbidden. However if that low level deserves to be PKed (aka bjed, scammed, or did something wrong to the guild) then you are free to do so. 3. Do NOT lure newbies into PK areas to pk em. 4. Have FUN doing PK, No senseless flames towards other guilds (look guildrules about not causing trouble for guild). If there is a problem with another guild, talk to Scorpius and Bernie. We will handle that. However, some joking flames are allowed tho. 5. DONT attack friendly (green) tagged guilds, even if they are fighting against an Ally (blue) tagged guild. However try your best supporting allies and friendlies if they are fighting against neutral tags (yellow) or Enemy tags (red) So thats it with introducing the Bloody Desire to you. oh yeh maybe i put that wrong myself as well.. i dont think that the intro screen is bad itself.. i just think its not up to date anymore to how the game is now.. just think the intro screen should enhance finally together with the actual game ^^ p.s.: nice selfmade screens so far here =)

well yes of course... but ppl who want new pics and cant do it via the progs i meant are most likely also the people who want to have an really nice screen and not just a downloaded, resized one ^^ #EDIT: very nice picture Loth, would it be possible for you making some nice ice Dragon Intro Screen with having "Eternal Lands" in it somewhere? ^^

You CAN make your own or replace it with whatever you want. Just replace login_menu.bmb in your textures folder in your el directory. Make sure its the same dimensions as the original. Then why are people making such a fuss? Just make their own if they don't like it hence why i said that lol but i can imagine not everyone knows their way around with graphic programs to create some nice intro screen so maybe some people should step up creating some basic new intro screens that the community can use if they wish to.

little noob learns what a misclick is and becomes more careful in a future ? I find Ozmondius's idea quite fair - the community should have a means to counteract such actions (although both in case of Gohan and LuciferX they could argue that stopping them was possible if only players organize themselves better, and I sadly have to agree to that). exactly thats what makes me a little bit upset that ppl complained about what both did =) there were (afaik) 100 ppl on contest chan, every lil bit coulda helped alot if teamed together =)

Ok, make anyone who heals an invasion monster pk'able for 5 minutes after each heal. Now that's spice. Well lets think about it... little noob wants to help in invasion.. lil noob accidently heals the dragon instead of the player... lil noob gets pkable.. lil noob gets pwned by someone beeing on the invasion monsters side.. not very good thought about imho but its a start

I really understand it destroyed the Fun and the chance of an Special Day for those who worked on it with fighting the invasion monsters. But after all just IMHO its an roleplaying game... everyone can choose their own part what they want to play as.. i think making the Monsters not be able to be healed is a step in the wrong direction as if people chose to be on the.. well lets call it dark side. Limiting the Possibilities for those players is wrong i think, i just remember FURY, an official announced roleplaying Outlaw guild, sure they annoyed a hell lot of ppl but i respected em for not going with the flow and finally bringing some spice into the game. I personally hope Radu reconsidders the decision of making the Monster not healable.. or atleast finding an compromise that would please both sides. Anyways.. thats just my oppinion on that matter.
