There WAS a search function with the #sto command, what gave back the list of all items in sto, or items defined by the given parameter. It is removed because produced too much traffic between the server/client but I hope it will come back one day (at least for searching one type of items).

Lovak még csak tesztszerveren. AGP beállítást csak valódi (nem integrált) AGP kártyánál lehet beállítani. Én arról beszélek hogy valami közepes/gyengébb AGP vagy PCI Nvidia kártyát berakva a gépbe már futhatna is a játék Jah azért ha kiadsz egy sudo lspci -vv parancsot, akkor kiírja a rendes busid-et is. Legjobb ha a parancs kimenetét ide bepostolod, hátha okosabbak leszünk.

Currently I am sometimes using an old notebook with the Intel GMA chipset, usually it runs the game around 22fps, but it slows down to 4-7fps while Firefox is opened (although it is minimized on the taskbar and doesn't have any pages loaded - just waiting for pressing F2 in EL client). Maybe the resync problem can come from the overload of CPU?

It would be also nice, if there will be an option on config panel: (checkbox) use selected channel instead of local If it is selected, all simple messages without beginning / or @ or # will appear on the selected channel (it can be gm of course). It would reduce a lot of @ or #gm typing.

Go to Control Panel then Device Manager, then click on Display adapters. Optionally you can find inside the dialog box what appears when you press right mouse button on the desktop and select the properties menu item.

You can check if you access the server with the command 'ping game.eternal-lands.com'. It shows you if is something blocking the way to the game server. On windows XP you can type this command via start menu->run. On Vista, the same way just type into the start search field in start menu: 'cmd /c ping game.eternal-lands.com'. On Linux, just open a terminal and enter the same ping command. While the command running, you will see responses from server with milliseconds or just 100% packet lost (press ctrl+c if you want to stop the test). If you have problems by reaching the server, then it is domain name set problem, in that case use the wizard in windows to set up the internet connection properly. Optionally you can try 'ping 62.93.225.47'. If the server is reachable, then the domain wasn't set properly.

Hali! Milyen grafkari van a gépben? Hardver gyorsítás műkszik? Két dologból nem mehet: az ubuntu (és ált. a linuxok) sajna kényes a 3D kártya milyenségére, ha nem NVidia-d van, nehezebb beállítani, de nem lehetetlen. Ha nincs 3d gyorsítás akkor nagyon lassú lesz minden 3d-s program. Az Ubi képes letölteni automatikusan a gyári kártya drivert és telepíteni azt (nvidiánál ez gond nélkül megy, atinál picit molyolni kell egyes kártyáknál). Egy terminált nyitva egyszerűen megnézheted a sudo glxinfo paranccsal. A glxgears nevű progival meg megnézheted milyen gyors. Ha már itt túl lassú/nem megy akkor sajna linux le, xp fel. Ha megy és a kliens mégse, akkor valszeg a shader támogatással lesz a gond. Javaslom keresd meg a .elc könyvtárat a homeodban, ezen belül lesz a main könyvtár, itt meg olyan hogy error_log. Ezt nézd át, hátha van benne értelmes hiba. Ugyanitt van egy el.ini fájl, ennek a paramétereit átirogatva is próbálkozhatsz. Pl. vertex_buffert és shaderst, eye-candyt állítsd off-ra, poor man modet ("szegényes ember mód" by unknown translator lol) állítsd on-ra. Remélem segített, viszlát a játékban No és biztos hogy kaját tartanak benne? ;-)
