So if you die say in PK somewhere other than KF, you lose ur rosto but respawn at the same place? So if you get killed again you drop your stuff, right?

I had fatal man for a few weeks. IMO not worth the pp's unless u plan on farming dragons (you could use fire/ice arrows+rapier and probably hit as much as a 130's a/d char... if you get max phys/vit/will I bet you could kill them without a diss... then again you're on a no cooldown server so you prolly don't even diss if you have 80 max mana ). As for PK, I believe 6 reas will be more beneficial, especially since you will only be fighting people around your own strength and weaker. If you want a good PK perk, take evanescence, thats 10% less damage taken every fight, and its also 2 pp's cheaper.

1 or 2 minutes of no cooldown is 1 or 2 minutes of invincibility............ Maybe if its a ring that removes all your cooldowns like ti-cuisses of cd removal, which has a long cooldown itself... and if you make such an item it should cost about 500gc atleast.

My theory as to why no foreigners invade EL: Trik's ever increasing army of 500-million soldiers (all equipped with leather helms and nothing else) will take decades to kill... the invaders who don't die of sheer exhaustion, will eventually die of old age before they can cut a way through his army. :S

Was thinking the same thing but didn't wanna say it... anyone who is serious about a/d who fell in the 60-80 gap 2 months ago would easily get from 60 to 80 a/d by now (10mil exp exp over 60 days, is 166k exp per day... a laughable amount for people on ogre/cyc) and they don't care about the n00b instance so they won't come help you test it.

Sounds to me like you just want to appease some sorta god-complex. If someone doesn't care about your rules, making them go quiet for a few minutes wont change anything (infact I'm guessing that'll just make 'em pissed). And if it's a mistake why mute instead of just telling them off?

I've been training up my old DPA char specially for this instance, unfortunately I do not have a 60-80 a/d char at my disposal to help test this, but don't give up on it yet (not gunna train my DP alt to 80-100 lvl just to see what these instances are like )

Good reasoning, and good idea's. Although if you want to be realistic about it, the main reason spears were so popular through-out history is because they are cheap and easy to produce (and also because it takes alot less skill and training to properly handle a spear [point and thrust] as opposed to a sword/bow, but thats not relevant), so why make it more expensive to make than any other craftable weapon? And while we're at it, why are bronze swords so imba powerful? I mean the metal itself may be slightly harder than primitive/crude iron, but steel/titanium are way harder, have sharper edges and is a lighter material... (ofc I know EL greatswords are made of 'wolframite' but then what about the basic swords steel long to tit serp?). Then again, tis just a game, doesn't really matter does it?

IMO a spear should actually give you positive defense, since its a long pointy stick that allows you to hold off your opponent at a greater distance than say a sword would. Also if you look into history spear formations were generally used as a defensive troop as opposed to offensive. (although I can see how it could be bad at close quarters). If there were such an option, I'd have suggested that if you stand still in spot for 10-20 seconds with a spear it should give you a great defensive bonus (simulating getting into position). But if you equip it in the middle of a fight or shortly before one you have a negative def bonus. But as I said thats prolly roo complicated and time consuming.

What BKC means is: the difference between being on a buddy list is that the other person is automatically notified when you log on, even if they were not specifically checking the online page every 30 seconds 24/7, while it is only the most dedicated and highly motivated stalkers who check the online page every 30 seconds 24/7. For example: every now and then while in PK, someone would say something like 'Toom just logged on' or 'LuciX just logged on' in which case everyone would either get out of KF or put on red cape, etc. I mean under normal circumstance what idiot is gunna check the online page every 30 seconds to see if he is safe in KF?
