I think it would be really cool if we could look at someone and view where they are from, plus a 1-2 sentence bio/quote/headline/etc either appearing visually with the achievements box (it would probably have to be really small though) or via the chat screen. Ex: You see Amber. Location: Indiana, USA. Bio: I <3 EL! If anyone wants to keep this info private, they could opt out. What do you think?

Not everybody's on forums, took me over 4 years to join forums. Agreed, JB. And regardless of whether someone is registered on forums, I don't think people regularly have forums open when playing if they would want to know where someone is from or a little bit about them -- unless they really want to know. Otherwise, it takes an extra 5 minutes. It would be cool if you hover over or click everyone (i.e. while sitting at storage) quickly and find out location or a "fun fact" in their bio. Yes, the downside would be client update, so maybe in-game command is more feasible. And again, the bot possibility if an owner wants to put in the effort. I forgot about Gossip! And yes, of course it's possible to ask people where they are from or other details about themselves - I do it all the time. Just suggesting something I thought would be cool and/or a quick conversation-starter with someone you maybe wouldn't normally talk to.

Eek, I was just making a play-on word joke with my name! Guess no one got it... As an old/new player, I have 2 Amber, and it took me what felt like hours to harvest them in one sitting. I will hold on to them if I ever decide to participate in an invance. For those that have stockpiles, I would hate to imagine how long it took to get those!

I agree with Learner. Although the act of bagjumping is discouraged and looked down upon, the only real thing you can do is post the situation and logs/screenshots in the Outlaws. Believe it or not, bagjumping IS legal.

Is this guy clueless?! Does he know you, LabRat? If not, he completely ratted on himself to someone he didn't know, as well as to someone who was clarifying rules to him! Why would he tell someone who respects rules that he 'scammed' someone?! D'oh! He just kept going on and on...geesh...10 PMs in a row from him with no reply from you. It seems like he wanted to get caught... People have to be wary of who they sell/give their characters to, because their good names could easily be ruined...

Thank you for posting about this, rachie, because I have been having the same exact problem for several months. Glad to know it wasn't just me! I will try all of these recommended solutions again and see what happens.

Same thing happens to me, "but you did lose the reagants for this spell " <-- stupid smilie Anyway... it happens to me when I am clicking on someone that needs healing, but most of the time they are near a person that has full HP, so maybe the cursor is a little off? The problem where nothing happens when you click, that happened to me only when I accidentally deleted my Remote Heal spell from my quickbar and tried putting it back over there... It would not work from the quickbar for the first 3-4 times...only from the spell window...weird, and I'm not sure why.

I agree on both, completely, especially cooldown! I wish cooldown was modified or taken out of the game completely... It is too bad that people quit over it. It's very rewarding running around IP and/or beam, and helping on Ch 1, too! I agree about having the complex quests to help players get to know the game, too. I learned most of the things that I know from very helpful players, not the Tutorial NPC.
