  1. About arenas

I am reposting this so we can get feedback in general. My fellow guildie was bruttally attacked while training with a guildie from CEL. They were both killed and good items were stolen from both. It was in an arena. When they asked they were simply told by DIE! guild that it's a PK map and it's all free for all. What do you think? Get rid of the open arenas? I say YES. Well there is a problem with the concept of the arenas. The true meaning is listed. But in EL game it is considered another PK MAP And therefore it is a TRAP and Free For All. So I recommend all players avoid them and simply not use them. I feel they should be removed from the game maps altogether. But this is my opinion. Arenas should have some respectable rules of honor. But this can never be. It's Meaning: 1. An enclosed area for the presentation of sports events and spectacles. 2. A building housing such an area 2. A place or scene where forces contend or events unfold: withdrew from the political arena; the world as an arena of moral conflict. 3. The area in the center of an ancient Roman amphitheater where contests and other spectacles were held. [Latin harçna, arçna, sand, a sand-strewn place of combat in an amphitheater, perhaps of Etruscan origin.] WORD HISTORY Fans watching contact sports such as boxing, hockey, or football in modern arenas might be struck by the connection between the word arena and the notion of gladiatorial combat. This word is from Latin harçna (also spelled arçna), “sand.†Harçna then came to mean the part of a Roman amphitheater that was covered with sand to absorb the blood spilled by the combatants. Arena is first recorded in English during the 17th century, denoting this area of a Roman amphitheater. With general rules of combat allowing a fight to the death by permission and therefore no crimes committed.
  2. Honorable pking

I agree. You on a pk map to pk. All know that it is a pk map. If you enter in agreement of training, then you have common courtesy rules between you and the other. I think all should show respect to eachother and be polite. That means leave them alone. Don't kill them just cuz you can. Bag jumping on any map is just rude. Saving someones bag makes you a hero in that persons eyes. So I not see outlaws here. I do see some players that are rude and plain mean. But thats the game.
  3. This is just a idea. I like my human race guy. I want to look different and let others know I help support EL. So why not a special cloak like the NH mods got except a different color and letters like EL Club/EL PLAYER/EL#1 or something like that. Like for $50.00 USD a TeeShirt for the player ( I really like the teeShirts) and a cloak that cannot be lost, traded, or stolen for his/her char. And $20.00 USD gets you just the lifetime cloak. I want to be the 1st buyer. I'm sure others would want 1 to.
  4. Calling all guildleaders

<_< Hello, I am new to the guild leader stuff. But I think that if we over do this stuff we will lose sight of the fact that it is a game. I love this community game because of the many different players and their good & bad habits, good & bad moods, good & bad behavier. Without it all, I think it would be boring and not worth the time. We cannot become dictators and a bunch of enforcers making everybody a drone. Visit my guild page and this is what our guild feels is right. Others may not agree but it's ours. Each guild should take care of it's own. We make it a point to help a new player each day we are in the game playing. So please don't make it so real life with kangaroo courts and all that. So no more laws and lawyers please. Thank you for reading. And also, I have met the game mods and I think they are doing a great job in the game. I think they help the new players alot but it is a community and all should help. You get out what you put in. http://eternallands.bravehost.com/ visit here soon
