    Lol ye cool idea Make 2 chars with high will (for +exp), def gods and enough vitality to pvp without damage, leave them in a guild map fighting, switch off, leave for a few months and beat masterpiter in defense

    Yeah was ok I was getting similar exp with tit short or wooden staff, i had 32/40 p/c 70/80 a/d i think But when I was on cycs CoLs became more common and NMT appeared so I switched to using them. Training "the real way" was fun although

    was possible with more phys but painful, if you were strong enough for boning clops, tit long on fluffs was usually a better option Zami: Maybe you were rich Anyway it wasn't common to train with CoL those times, I remember most trainers used no CoLs, especially on ogre, cyc, armed orc (which appeared in 2006 spring/summer I think). Nowadays it has changed for sure, I've even seen one guy boning trolls in full red dragon set

    Yes Agis, you are confusing the things I guess. I trained cyclops as an "old" player a bit, but old players didn't bone cyclops, they used tit long or tit short sword because they didnt have CoLs (or they had life helms later which were 200k at npc)

    There are some things that sound weird in EL NPC price system. Typical example: titanium bar = 8 titanium ore+ 7 FE If some1 sells ingreds to NPC he/she gets 8*2.5+ 7*3 = 41 gc. If some1 makes titanium bar, he/she gets 40gc for it at NPC. And I even wasnt mentioning 3 coal needed, possible fails, food needed... In short, you are losing money because you are making product

  9. Vit vs. will

    High will is also good for training a/d on weak monsters, cause the bigger newb you are, the bigger is the bonus. I mean, for example you train on spider which would give you +34 def exp (just and example). If you add 18 will, you get +3 xp to a/d, which is almost +10% xp. It adds to both att and def, so it's like extra god at low level. Reducing damage at such levels is only detrimental because it would prevent you from leveling magic Because of +xp will build is better even on fluff/feros I think, because those make fairly low damage, with good armor you get only crits with will build too, reducing damage is really not an issue. Of course, on tougher monsters you may find vitality more convenient
  10. Fluffy stuck in KF

    Fluffy was jumping in KF (near mercury) and passed by player it should have attacked. But instead of attacking, it jumped a few squares away and stopped, and got stuck. It was standing on a completely clear space, no objects blocking its way in any direction Not much more information I could provide though Molime witnessed this too

    I reviewed log, it got stuck about 23:04:30 +- 10 sec GMT time if that helps So probably was daytime I think, you can check it accurately
  12. Character control

    I think we could have shortcuts for more actions in game. One obvious thing that pops in my mind is shortcut for "Mix all" button. You could chat in console mode when mixing something and just hit the mix button without mouse from time to time. I remember one guy was warned for illegally modifying client for this functionality, but I think it does no harm and could be accepted

    Ah, I realized when it does not work. Sto doesn't show up when fighting. If you are harvesting, you stop harvesting by requesting #sto. Are there any specific reasons for these limitations?
  14. use of different heights

    I think this won't happen soon, because it would require significant changes to the game engine. Yes, birds should be able to fly over water, we could get ships finally and giants walking over small obstacles etc, but that would require both server code and remaking all maps by including the required information. As I understand EL is pretty simple now - map tiles are either walkable or not, for all creatures. Birds are same walking creatures just elevated a bit, imagine them having long invisible legs. Disclaimer: I am not EL developer.

    A/D is not so easy to level as some people think Just A/D trainers work hardest on the skill training for hours, days and years
  16. Global Warming

    All in all, the levels of CO2 and methane in atmosphere are high, and getting constantly higher. These can be directly attributed to humans burning fuel, doing intensive farming (ye big farms pollute a lot), and so on. However, is this emission of gases and increased level of them the cause of global warming? No one can answer that I think. These can have influence, but no one knows how big so far. There have been tropical ages (dinosaurs) and ice ages on the planet, some of the fluctuation is natural. Anyway, I believe we should try to limit the amount of damage we deal to our planet, like cutting less forests and so on. Many life species are extinct or getting extinct because of our activities, the planet is getting boring

    Happens to me in Bethel often, especially if I haven't visited any sto from logging on All in all, I'm not happy with this feature as it is now. As other people pointed out too: Not possible to generate list for "entire storage sell" on forums Not possible to search fast, like `#sto gold` These can be fixed, I believe. Just add GUI button to display storage, also display it on `#sto`. Also, make search available with `#sto` argument, and make printing all sto available by `#sto all` lets say.

  19. Yeti wool is a bad idea IMHO, because yetis are supposed to be humanoid creatures, like humans, apes

    On some maps and under some circumstances #sto even does nothing, doesn't open the sto window

  23. Eternal Lands now has many features, many items, many skills. Also I think (and hope) player storages and stats will never be resetted again. There is sound system, special-fx, decent graphics, many activities to do. Maybe after testing this update and fixing bugs we can call the game no longer beta, but a real release? Even after final release, programs get new versions, upgrades, so that is not a problem for further development.

    New models look very good (more realistic). However, young male dreagonis now look a bit feminine Female draegonis look better but without that strange sexy charm that was before. Human/elf chars benefited most in my opinion, especially females. They look really cool now. What concerns my char look, I'm a green orchan. After update, it's a bit too green Combat animations look much more fluid now, and better synchronized. That's cool. But they look slightly slow. As of other features, this is one of the greatest updates I've seen, so many new features. I even wasnt able to explore all them, sound is still to be downloaded... Thanks for the developers, some real work was done for this update, no doubt

    Sounds like being adult and still competing in children sports Char must progress imho
