Although I agree he shouldn't have been wearing it for fighting maybe its time to have a look at this again and possibly change it. If the "vanity items" give no added benefit and indeed by wearing it while fighting you are forfitting some benefits (COL, COM, Armour from helms etc) maybe it should be made unbreakable? The idea I guess is that if you choose to wear it while fighting just to show off thats fine, it won't break but you don't get your 150 extra mana or 150 extra health etc cos as people have mentioned you don't want it collecting dust in Storage and weddings are few and far between these days Just an idea

I've just read your most recent post on the blog about the next update Ent, there wasn't any mention of this. I'm just curious what your views are on it as you haven't made much comment about your opinion since a lot of the feedback on the topic. I understand a lot of people are excited about the PK server but I hope that the suggestion here is still being considered for the main?? I know I'm excited about it It's all gone very quiet

I still prefer the idea of a #make_pk command being availible that was discussed as long as some of the ideas suggested by the players are taken into account (i.e. 1 month in game time is too long)

I agree totally. unfortunatly I think if this perk was introduced the only people who wouldn't mind being PK'able all the time are only the very strongest a/d in game and the extra PP only serves to make them stronger - just keeps the gap between the top players and the rest even wider. Command (with shorter time than month) = good idea , perk = not so hot (braces self for beatings)

This has come up plenty of times before with a negative response - however just a little trick if you really want to know who is on your buddy list open up your chat log history, do ctrl+F for find and search for #add_buddy or the word buddy etc. Soon see who you've added over the months and years and if you look for "buddy" you'll see who you've removed also. Of course you need an intact chat log history but still...

IF you don't get the price you ask for it and you really wanna unload it, I'll take 4k for 35k GC. Good luck:)

I can pledge that if I see someone who is PK'able (and I think I can take them) I will PK them and in turn become PK'able myself if its for a reasonable amount of time (a few hours - maybe up to 12 in game time?) The only point that stops me pledging to use the whole feature (and I echo most of the other comments here) is the amount of time the effects last for - 1 month of playing time. From my personal perspective I play EL for enjoyment and a release from work some evenings - I am not a "grinder" who plays 12 hours a day. Hence why after 2 years playing i am still a feeble noob at OA97 I play on average for 15 hours a week so if I were to take this option thats 48 weeks (a year!) i'd be pk'able for. I know yourself Ent you've said on some of the posts where people have left the game that they should try and enjoy it more and play more "casual". I do know however I'm not the average player style of EL and so there must be a compromise. Maybe a week of playing the game (168 hours??) or even better 24 hours of playing game ( I can but hope) Nevertheless its an excellent Idea ent and I do think if you get this right it will be utilized a lot more than the guild war commands.
