Yes, I've tried the chat window. But the area behind it is still useable map space, and that is quite annoying; if you need to click that space you need to constantly move the box.

Oh yes, I'm not complaining about anything. The current chat works just fine. I just like the idea of a more out-of-the-way chat. I have another idea too: Maybe when someone says something (Not a PM or command, naturally) it could appear in a speech bubble above their heads for a few second, then fade off. It would be useful in a large crowd to see who was saying what.

Thanks Piper for the info. After thinking it over, I think taming would be a bit of a hassle... but I still like the pet idea! ^_^

That idea for dogs is quite nice actually, but I don't know if quite everyone would want the same dog just in different colors. *shrug* Maybe there can be a few other animals too? Maybe there can be another skill called Taming and the player can use it on animals; the higher taming level the better chance at taming the pet.

^_^ But like I said, I've never played it before. I've tried PlaneShift (www.planeshift.it) in its early days though, but it got old pretty fast as it was incredibly glitchy for me. And hi Rasb!

I would love to see a tabbed chat already implemented into the top or bottom bar. It would also scroll so it wouldn't take up much space, and plus if it was included in the bottom bar there could be buttons around it, thus providing more space on the bar. Just an idea but I think it would be very useful.

Now that would be useful! I really like the idea. Maybe there could be a box listing the online guild members (if they choose to be seen when they're online)

I'm in a sort of hurry and haven't read all the posts in this thread so I'm sorry if this was mentioned before... I've never tried it but from what I've seen it looks like a cute game. MapleStory When you get there (unless you speak Korean) you'll want to mouse over the "English" option.

Well I don't think it was supposed to be an exactly 'lengthy' game. It was short and simple, and from what I saw, no, Dunian, there wasn't really a way to wint the game... it only came to an end after you did certain things.

Well if pets were ever implemented, to make things easier maybe you wouldn't be able to enter within a certain distance of a crowded place (e.g. WS Storage) without puttiong your pet away, so as to make things less crowded? These are just suggestions.

Well, it can be for fun and roleplaying, but I think it would still be neat to have books and such on it. *shrug* Just an idea.

That would be neat. But maybe it could lose HP just the same way you do, but you could have it fight along side you and get experience. (So, for example, if you had a rabbit pet, and were fighting a beaver, you would be helping your pet fight and it wouldn't die.) This part may be harder to implement but it's an idea: Maybe you could have certain Coordination/Physique/etc. for your pet, and it could even gain its own pickpoints to be used at the Wraith? Well if there ever are any pets, I think there should be the option to store it in your inventory or something, so if you were fighting something that would kill your pet easily it wouldn't be harmed.
